Well, I don't have any talking black cat with me, but I will try to fly around Brighton - Worthing area for home delivery of Japanese Cooking ingredients for you to try cooking at home.

As I deliver by myself, so the area is only with in Brighton (BN1) to Worthing (BN13).
It is still a trial. Let's see how this can develop.

I am might make some Japanese cooking video... maybe, one day...

It is not going to be only food. an-an is working together with Jack and Mei, Japanese fancy goods shop, https://www.facebook.com/jackandmei/, making masks for us.
They voluntarily make scrubs and scrub bags for NHS staffs from the money they sell masks.
I also can deliver the mask with this fortnightly delivery.

 There are 3 sizes.
S for children (2 for £8.00)
M or L for ladies (2 for £12.00 or 2 x Cath Kidston £15.00)

Profit will go to materials for making NHS scrubs and scrub bags.

We send acknowledgement of your order. If you don't receive it by Tuesday night, please email me again. I will mail the total shopping price and the bank transfer detail.
After the bank transfer confirmation, we will pack and start delivery from Brighton towards Worthing. The delivery will be outside of your door step between 4pm to 8pm.

We may turn down your order if your address is outside of the delivery range.
If the demand is more, we may arrange something in the future.
So please keep check on this.

I like to move it, move it ♪

We have moved to the new shop! (Please click the photo. Googlemap may show where the Coffee Station is.) We are still in the middle of all the updates. 
The sign has not changed, but it is NEW an-an. Well, I call it an-an @the Coffee Station now.

Of course, it is not Cafe, yet.
We have to start somewhere... so, we will start Take Aways this week, maybe on Tuesday 7th April. 
From 11:30 am to 3:00pm on Monday to Saturdays, like an-an used to.

First of all, we have to get used to the new kitchen, we will start slowly.
Menu will be very limited, too.
We now know the Corona Virus is easily killed by heat, so we keep away from cold menu, such as Sushi, Salad and Sandwiches. In stead, we will put some cooked veges in the lunch menu.

You can Take away Coffee and Tea.
I know this cafe used to be very famous for tasty coffee and cakes. 
For now, I can make tasty coffee and Japanese sweets.
You have to wait for cakes a bit longer.

We all wear masks and gloves while we prepare your meals. 
We are very careful about food hygene as you know an-an has a 5 Hygene rating in the previous place!
After weeks of cleaning and scrubbing at the new location, we came to conclusion of "Good to go!".

１）Please ring 07923 900344 to order. 
２）I will let you know what time your order will be ready for collection. Please do not come to shop till then.
３）At the table in front of the shop, we will check your name. Please pay by card if possible. 
4) We will leave your meal on the table for you to collect.

Due to COVID-19…

Dear Customers and friends,

After tonight's announcement about COVID-19 from the Government, an-an will be closed until further notice.

Some of you asked for delivery, however, we don't want to put anybody on the frontline by deliverying our food, and also it is too short notice to sort out the payment system.

It is unfortunate to announce like this, but after the closure of an-an, we will move our shop to 94 Boundary Road (ex. the Coffee Station). It is on the other side of Boundary Road, but still on Boundary Road!!!

As we move, we will have a larger kitchen to cope with demand (hopefully!) and a separate customer area, so we are planing to register with some of the delivery companies.

When the time is right, we will announce more detail about the new business.

Please stay safe at home; I will keep you upto date with our progress here! A lot of comments appreciated!!!

we start taking order for 'Osechi for one...ish'this year.

only 30 sets will be available so please book it hurry!

If you bring in your own container, we fill your container with 10 % off. Please bring container, which is about 25cm x 25cm in 8ne layer, before 15th December.

they are all very typical foods which brings fortune in the coming year. for example;
sweet Brack beans - Mamemameshiku = being healthy and cheerful
pickled White radish and carrot - White and red is symbol of cerebration.
pickled lotus roots - see through the future through the holes.
sweet chestnuts and sweetpotate - symbol of gold and wealth
datemaki (sweet rolled egg omelet) - resemble shape of old Japanese rolled documents, so hoping for knowledge and success in study.
gomame (tadukuri) - hoping a big harvest in the coming year.
Prawns - live long till our back hunched.
...etc, etc...
so many lucks you can get out of this big bento box!

Please come to pick up on the 31st December between 12pm to 5pm.
there will be Toshikoshi Soba noodle and Japanese sweets on sale.
