We are into another lockdown month. How are you doing?

Since the last week of January, the café has been running three days a week (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

We've been spending the first half of the month updating the café website and thinking about how we're going to run it. Occasionally we'll open the cafe for a few events, so keep an eye on our blog, Facebook and Instagram for updates.

This year, for the first time in 124 years, Setsubun will be on the 2nd of February. It's one day earlier than usual.
It makes us feel good. Spring will come a day earlier. So I thought we have to celebrate this day with ehomaki.

That's why Japanese sweets are also turning into spring colour. Pink and green really make you feel lighter.

February Wagashi

Steamed Inaka Manju　￡1.80 each

This is a steamed bun with tsubuan (sweet red bean paste) and sweetened chestnuts wrapped in a thin skin of yam dough. It looks like melting snow on a rock. I can't wait for spring.

Plant base.

Ume no ka　￡1.50 each

White bean paste with plum vinegar kneaded into it, wrapped in pink gyuhi. A slightly salty taste that will leave you wanting more.

Three coloured Dango　￡1.50 each

Sanshoku Dango, also known as Hanami Dango, is a dumpling in pink, white and green, and is available.  Plant base.

Kosi an Daifuku、Tsubu kusa Daifuku　￡1.30 / each　Plant base 
Dorayaki pancake sandwich with Koshi-an, Tsubu-an, Green tea flavour ￡1.50/each　(contains Egg, wheat and honey）

February Events

2nd (Tue)  Setubun. The direction for good luck is South-South East this year. Please order Ehomaki before 3pm.

14th (Sun)  Valentine's Day💓 Strawberry Daifuku and some sweets will be available on 12th and 13th.

16th (Tue)  ... However, it's the Pancake Day.... Cafe is closed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

OkonomiYaki Night are on this month, too!!!
Every Friday 5pm to 9pm.(Last order is at 8:30 pm or till running out ingredients.)

Please use the parking space for picking up. We will bring your meals to your car. Plese call us on your arrival with your car's type and colour.
